Being a Member

The International Carnivorous Plant Society is a truly international organization of horticulturists, conservationists, scientists, and educators all interested in sharing knowledge and news of carnivorous plants. Membership is a way of contributing to our international exchange of knowledge.

Carnivorous Plant Newsletter

The Carnivorous Plant Newsletter (CPN) is the official publication of the International Carnivorous Plant Society. It is a color, quarterly journal published in March, June, September, and December.

Features include regular columns, horticultural articles, research papers, field trip reports, conservation news, book and literature reviews, communications from members, cultivar descriptions, artwork, meeting announcements, and advertisements.

Carnivorous Plant Newsletter Back Issues

Members have access to PDF versions of all issues since 1972. You may download any and all of the back issues for your personal use or purchase them on a CD.  An index to all the CPN articles is at the CPN public web site.

ICPS Seed Bank

The Seed Bank is a member-only seed exchange available via the ICPS Store on this website. Share the seeds from your plants with other members. Please see the Seed Bank section of our public website for more information.

Please note that we are not able to ship anything from the ICPS Store to countries that require prepaid VAT tax.  This includes most of Europe.

Get Involved

The International Carnivorous Plant Society an all-volunteer organization that is an increasing voice in the world of conservation. We would also like to excel in promoting awareness of nature and the interaction between human society and the rest of our natural world. Become involved in our conservation and education programs.
